An extra layer for light, fast ski tours. These shorts fit over softshell touring pants for added warmth on the skin track and when charging the descent. Mammut LOOPINSULATION Active – a 100% recycled filling made from 50% industrial rope production offcuts & 50% rPET – delivers high breathability when you're on the move, and traps warmth as you transition to downhill mode. Full-length side zippers allow for quick changes. A light nylon blend fabric boosts breathability and partial stretch inserts provide full freedom of movement on kick turns. When not in use, the pants fold into the inner pocket. The lightweight Aenergy Air IN Hybrid Shorts support speedy climbs to claim fresh tracks.

Polyester rope offcuts from industrial production are collected, untwisted into single strands, and brushed together with zero added chemicals. We then reweave these fibers into an adaptive, accordion-like padding built specifically for the enhanced breathability, stretch, and stop-and-go demands of climbing, skiing, and ski touring.
